Prayer Of The Day – When He Acts Like Me

Dear Lord,

I have been married long enough that I see so much of my character in my husband and vise versa.  We have learned behaviors from each other and not all of them are beneficial.  Actually, when I see my husband acting like me or doing things I do that are negative it really makes me mad.  Not mad at him, but mad at myself.  I need to know that my husband experiences my behavior and that exposure can lead to him learning it.  I pray that you would transform me and help not to act out in poor behavior and protect my husband from learning my horrible responses.  Help us to grow and mature together in you.  I pray over our marriage today and ask that you would help us to come together as one, in peace and unity in Jesus name AMEN!
