Prayer Of The Day – Starting The New Year Off Right

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this last year.  Although it was extremely difficult at some points, it was also so full of blessing.  I appreciate how you carry me through it all.  I love you Lord.  I am so excited to see how this next year goes.  I pray that my husband and I can start it off right with goals that will improve our character and our marriage.  I submit my goals to you and ask for the motivation and discipline to achieve them daily.  Lord please be with me as I strive to be a better Christian, a better wife, a better mother, and a better friend in Jesus name AMEN!
