Dear God,
When I first got married, I truly believed I was a really good person. I rarely found fault in myself. It is amazing how much marriage can reflect imperfections! I have learned a lot over the years. I am a sinner and very, very imperfect. I am so thankful for how You are transforming my character. I pray that You would show me my sin. I desire to know my imperfections and sin so that I may repent and turn from my ways. I see the effects my sin have on marriage and I don’t like it. Open my eyes so that I may clearly see the areas of my life that I need to improve. I am so sorry for my sin and what it meant for Your Son. Yet I am also incredibly grateful for what You have done for me and through me. I pray protection over my marriage from my sin and imperfections. Help me Lord, in Jesus’ name AMEN!
