Prayer Of The Day – Overcoming Sins

Dear Lord,

This world is full of sinners, myself included.  However, many of us strive to live according to your ways.  I pray that I would continue to rid sin out of my life.  May your Holy Spirit transform me so that my sin does not cripple my marriage.  I pray that as husbands and wives journey through marriage, they too work on their sin so that it does not corrode their marriages.  I pray over marriages asking that you would protect our relationships from the temptations of this world and the enticement of the enemy.  Strengthen us to resist sin, breaking any bondage that traps us.  May your power dwell in us as we persevere and overcome sin in our lives by the power of your Spirit in Jesus name AMEN!
