Letter To My Husband – Maktub!

Dear Phathu,
Hey Love,

This is weird but what better way to express my love for you than to the world… When we first met I never in a million years though you’d be my husband one day. You were just that cool guy I met in a taxi. You fast became my closet friend, the one I ran to first when something exciting happened to me, the one I ran too first when I was angry, sad or hurting, the one I run to when I needed time out, when I needed to laugh. Man you always knew just what to say to get me in stitches, you still do. I found myself thinking about you more and more each day and then I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough of you, your smile, smell, company, everything about you and I felt good and it sure felt right. Then I knew this was my one. This is the man I’d been searching for, the man I prayed for. I thank Jehovah for bringing you into my life. You started of as a dream, a stranger in a taxi, the cool guy, my closet friend, my man and today I’m proud to finally say your my husband, my one. Sure we’ve had our fair share of fights, heck even more but I want you to know that I choose you again in a heartbeat. Now that I’ve found you, I don’t ever want to be without you. For what God has yoked together, let no man put apart. You know how our families date back. I know without a doubt that Jehovah was there linking every part of our lives before we met just so we could meet on that day- Maktub! I love you Phathutshedzo Nepfumbada, you are my One!
