Who doesn’t want a thriving marriage? An extraordinary relationship that is always growing and flourishing?

I know I do!

However, even when I desire to have a thriving marriage, it is often ME that gets in the way of experiencing one! I am human and I battle my flesh daily. There are times that I respond to my husband out of selfishness, which has a terminal affect on growth in our relationship. When I only focus on myself, my needs, and what is best for me… my marriage suffers.

During pre-marital counseling our pastor kindly illustrated our relationship liking it to a garden and its need for nourishment. Nourishment is the key to having a thriving marriage! I am to nourish my marriage, nourish my husband.
