Encouraging celebrity wives has been a passion of mine since I began UnveiledWife.com and it has been incredible to see the wives in this beautiful community come together to support other wives. We have already sent letters to more than 20 celebrity wives. WhooHoo!
The purpose behind this love movement is to cause a shift in our culture from gossiping about celebrity relationships to genuinely caring for them. It is also a hope that the wives who receive our letters gain necessary encouragement in their role as a wife and wisdom for what God purposed for them in that role.
Marriage is difficult. I can’t imagine facing the hardships of marriage in front of the public. All I can imagine is that those who do endure that reality are in need of some uplifting words.
So, will you join me this month by sending a letter of encouragement to Tori Spelling?
I grew up watching Tori Spelling and the rest of the cast on 90210 over my big sister’s shoulder. Her love for the show soon became mine. Tori Spelling has been in the public eye almost her entire life. In addition to 90210, Tori landed a few appearances on other television shows, movies, reality shows, and wrote a handful of books comprised of stories from her life experiences.
Tori married her husband Dean McDermott May 2006. Tori and Dean have four children together and live in Los Angeles, Ca. Let us encourage Tori and Dean to surrender their brokenness to God and allow Him to teach them what it means to be married. I am hoping and praying that their marriage is restored and built stronger on the foundation of Christ.
If you are interested in joining this love movement and feel like God is inspiring you to encourage Tori Spelling and her husband please take some time to follow the steps below:
1. Pray and ask God to anoint your letter. Ask Him to use you to encourage Tori and ask Him to inspire the words to write!
2. Write Tori a brief, personal letter, including words of encouragement and a prayer for her and Dean (Please do not criticize or judge anywhere in your letter, remember this is about reflecting God’s love for them!)
3. Note specifically in your letter that the wives at Unveiled Wife are praying for them.
4. Take a picture of your letter and post it to Twitter or Facebook tagging @unveiledwife and @Tori_Spelling.
5. Seal your letter to Tori in an envelope and use the address below:

Dear Tori,
I cannot fathom all that you are enduring. Having been raised up in the lights of Hollywood, your life has been on display for all to see. The amount of pressure you carry through life must be burdensome, especially when it comes to your personal life such as marriage. I wanted to reach out to you today and let you know that I care about you. I am cheering for you in your role as a wife and as a mother of four. Your influence in your family’s life is powerful and I have no doubt that your love for them is made known to them daily. As you face each day, I want you to know that the God of the universe loves you insanely! He cares about everything you are going through and He cares about your family. My name is Jennifer and I am an author, passionately sharing God’s love story with others through my blog unveiledwife.com. In fact, Unveiled Wife has become a community of wives who encourage one another through the journey of marriage, support I believe every wife needs. Lord,
I lift up Tori to You in prayer right now. Whatever she has been through, whatever she is experiencing currently, I ask that You would help her to relinquish her insecurities and her fears and cling to faith in You. I pray she would gain wisdom and deep understanding of Your design of marriage. Reconcile her and Dean and may they have a stronger love for each other than they have ever known. Protect them from ridicule or gossip from the public and instead send many more people to encourage them. May You equip Tori to fulfill her roles as a wife and as a mother. Help her to make wise decisions with her husband and may they grow to know You more. May you bless their marriage and bless their children in Jesus’ name AMEN!
