Struggling with what to get your man for the holidays?
Here’s an idea that won’t break your bank but will warm his heart!
As the holidays approach it is easy to focus on buying gifts for others, but some of the most memorable presents are the ones you make! Don’t let your husband fly under the radar this Christmas and make it a priority to give him your thoughtfulness.
How?
Connect God’s Word to why you love him so much by choosing a bible verse that describes him as a husband/father. Take the verses and your love and put them together onto one card. Write a card for each day you want to shower your husband with thoughtfulness this holiday season.
Below are the verses I’ve used to give you some inspiration.
Wives, submit to you husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church… ~Ephesians 5:22-23
- I connected this verse to his leadership of our household.
Husbands, love your wife and do not be harsh with her. ~Colossians 3:19
- I connected this verse to his unfaltering patience he has with me.
My lover is mine, and I am his. ~Song of Solomon 2:16
- I connected this verse to the love he shows me.
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” ~Hebrews 13:4
- I connected this verse to his faithfulness
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. ~Matthew 22:27
- I connected this verse to his dedication to be a Godly husband/father.
