I am beyond thrilled to announce that I will be hosting an Unveiled Wife meet-up here in Southern California!
The first time I ever did a meet-up was in central Oregon in July 2013 and 15 women came! I nervously paced back and forth the little coffee shop until the guests began to arrive. Humbled by the response I received I wept as I shared my heart for starting UW and my passion for writing Wife After God. It was raw, emotional, and led by the Holy Spirit! My heart is still over-joyed for what took place that day!
As a blogger my calling is fulfilled from a small room through a computer screen. As much as I get to interact through conversations via social media, it is an honor to be able to meet women from the community face to face.
So when I got back from Oregon, I reached out to my church and asked them if they would be interested in helping me host my next meet-up and enthusiastically they said yes! I love my church! Last Wednesday I sat down with Marsha, the Women’s Pastor at Crossroads Church and my friend Stephanie to plan the next UW Meet-Up. I went home that night with a huge smile on my face, eager to see our plans unfold in just a few short weeks!
So here are the details:
I titled this event SHINE, but you will have to come out and join us to find out why! I will be sharing a portion of my testimony and the meaning behind Unveiled Wife, with a few surprises that I am confident will inspire all who are present!
We will be gathering Saturday, January 11th, 2014 from 9am – 11:30 with breakfast treats and coffee provided.
Towards the end of our time together we will have Q & A with a panel of awesome women and some quality time to meet your host ME and get your copy of Wife After God signed!
I truly believe God is going to move in a power way during our meet-up. I pray that He uses this encouraging event for women to inspire our hearts for all that is to come for 2014. This event is for women of all ages (however, please be advised that the topic of sex in marriage will come up if you planning on bringing a young teen).
This is a FREE event with FREE parking. Unfortunately no childcare will be available. The event will be located in the Plex Look for the Unveiled Wife Banner!
