Dear Lord,
You ask me in your word to live with my wife in an understanding way. You have called me to honor her as the weaker vessel. I have failed at this so many times and I need your help, Father, to become the man that you have asked me to be. Lord, forgive me for my harshness and my lack of understanding. Help me to love my wife with knowledge. Help me to know when she needs me to just listen. Help me to know when she needs me to give advice. Help me to recognize when she just needs me to hold her. Lord, I do not want my prayers or my relationship with you to be hindered because I can’t walk with my wife in understanding.
