Dear Lord,
As men we naturally lean towards logic and harshness instead of emotion and understanding. We often try to fix before we listen. At least this is true for me. Father, make me gentle in spirit and word toward my wife. Help me to be quicker to listen and slower to speak. Lord, I want to teach my children what it looks like to be gentle and loving to their future spouses. Lord, I want to walk in the spirit and not the flesh. I want to be the husband that you desire me to be and that my wife deserves.
