Dear Lord,
I pray that, in this season of gift giving, we would understand that our presence is more powerful than our presents. Giving good gifts is what we husbands and dads should do but making sure we are fully present with our family is more powerful than any gift we can ever give. You exemplified this in sending your son Jesus to actually come and be present with his people. I also know that there are many men that cannot be with their wives and families, but wish they could and I pray that you would comfort them and their families as they are apart.
