Dear Lord,
Thank you for today! Thank you for marriage and thank you for showing us how to love unconditionally. One area that I struggle in is initiating intimacy. My reasons may change, but usually fear grips my heart. Please remove fear and replace it with faith. I pray that you would fill me with great courage so that I would be able to initiate intimacy with my husband. I know I need to pursue him to make him feel wanted and to affirm him, just like I desire him to do to me. Inspire me with creative ideas and grand gestures. Help me to see that there are many different ways to bless my husband. Please ignite my heart with passion and desire for my husband, as well as the energy to participate. I lift up other wives who struggle to initiate intimacy with their spouse too. May you give them the same courage! Help us to be better so that we shine as wives to you and to our husbands in Jesus name AMEN!
