Prayer Of The Day – A Blessing For Stepmoms

Dear God,

I lift up step-moms to you today.  I pray that your Holy Spirit would equip them for their role as a mother and help them to effectively communicate with their children.  I pray that there would be peace in their homes, especially between them and their husbands.  May your presence guide them as they work together as a family, to grow closer together, and experience great things.  Please give these wives time to rest and take care of themselves amidst the demands of motherhood.  I pray that you would send encouragements and helpful advice to them daily that will aid them in raising their children.  I also pray that the other family members who are part of their lives would respect them as stepmothers and support them in that leading role.  May you bless the courage these wives have to accept and love these children in Jesus name AMEN!
