Dear Lord,
You say in your word that wives must respect and submit to their husbands as they submit to Christ. I pray that we, as husbands, would not cause our wives to stumble in this command. I pray that we would cultivate an environment of love, safety, security, purity and encouragement so that our wives have an easier time following their role as a wife. I pray that we would take your command to us, to love our wives as Christ loves the church, with a true sense of awe and fear. I Pray that we would be the kinds of husbands that are easy to submit to and to trust. This is our job.
