Dear Lord,
We try so hard to earn things in this world that bring no lasting joy. We chase after things that we think are important but end up leaving us always wanting more. God, help us to chase after you instead. Remind us that we will find our joy and fulfilment in you alone. We need more of you and less of ourselves.
