Dear Lord,
Thank you for the conviction you place in my heart over my sin. Thank you that you prune me and mature me. Lord, I pray that whenever I sin against my wife that I would not try and bring her down in shame over things I want her to repent about just so that I can feel less shameful about my sin. I pray that I would instead repent to you and her without bringing up things she needs to change. I pray that I would spend time focusing on lifting her up instead of bringing her down.
