Dear Lord,
You desire each and every husband to be strong and courageous to protect and provide for their families. But you also desire for us to be gentle, which is to have self-control in how we use our words and our actions. Our gentleness is another way to show our wife and kids that we love them and to make our homes a safe place for them. I know I often struggle to be gentle, but I want to change that about myself. Make us more gentle, Lord.
