Dear Lord,
Our kids are so smart. It doesn’t matter how old they are, they pick up on everything. They can smell hypocrisy from a mile away. Lord, I pray that my wife and I would lead and love and discipline our kids in holiness. I pray that we would not merely teach them with our words but would show them with our actions what it means to love and obey You. I pray that we would heave self-control over the way we talk to our kids, especially when we are frustrated or tired. May we walk out in our own life the things that we expect our children to learn from us. Help us remember that we are discipling our children not just modifying their behavior.
