Dear Lord,
I pray for my heart. I pray that I would have the compassion of Christ within me. I desire to love people the way that Christ did and does. I want to love passionately and genuinely. Please fill my heart with compassion. Teach me how to suffer with and comfort others. I specifically pray that I would have compassion towards my husband. I pray that I would understand what he goes through each day and how it affects him. I pray that I would truly care about my husband’s well being instead of being focused on what he is or isn’t doing for me. Holy Spirit coat my heart with compassion in Jesus’ name AMEN!
