Dear Lord,
your word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in all circumstances. And Lord, you know that this is a hard thing to do especially when we are sick. But I pray that I can grow in maturity in this area and learn how to be thankful even in sickness. Even when I cannot accomplish what has to be done because my body won’t let me. Even when everything hurts. Lord, fill my heart with thanksgiving and praise.
