Letter To My Husband: The Love That God And I Have For You

Dear Grant,
Hi honey,
I want to start by saying that you have grown a lot since our wedding day. Can you believe that it will be 5 years this January? We have worked so hard to strengthen our marriage and God has given us that strength. I have learned so much what it means to be “one” and the bond of love that God has given us. He is healing my heart in that way. In the past week my heart has noticed that you are spending more time with our children and laughing with them while you play with them. I can truly see that you enjoy being a dad. When I see that, God opens my heart and shows me the man that He has created you to be. I don’t know if you had a lot of affirming while growing up, but I want to say that you mean a lot to our family. You are worth more than you think. I know God has stretched you in ways you didn’t think would happen. He has given us a lot and has shown us a lot to grow our faith. Our marriage, Our children, Our baby in heaven, Our house and providing for us when we didn’t know if we would have enough food for the week and the money to pay our bills as we were grieving through our miscarriage. I am thankful that our marriage and love towards each other stood strong through all of our hardships. I love you so much Grant! I want to finish by giving you this verse.

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Love, Your Wife
