A Letter To My Husband: Always I Will See You Through

Dear Jason,

From the moment I saw you on the baseball field so many years ago, I knew you were the one meant for me. You took my breath away. Through the years and trials we have always found our way back to each other no matter how distant we were. You lead me to the Lord 7+ years ago and through him I saw his plan for us, and for our children. Over the years, we have had many highs and mighty lows. But through it all we have remained strong and striving, we have continued to stay together as a “Team”no matter what has been thrown our way. I will always believe that through our love we can overcome anything set before us; through God’s grace and mercy He will never let us falter. I believe in you and what we have. And sometimes I don’t appreciate it enough, but I do know that we will make it through to create more everlasting and breathtaking memories together with our children. Life is a whirlwind of chaos and it isn’t always easy but it is worth it in the end. I am thankful for the man, father, and husband you are; for working hard, and being a good role model to our children. For never letting us fall and always being the calm through the storm. Thank you for all you do for us daily and being the leader of our home and through the Lord. For bringing us back to reality and making us understand the important things in life like family and working hard. Thank you for the adventures and laughter, for being there through the sorrow and helping me to see the beauty of it all. I love you with all my heart and will never stop fighting for what we have. You are my strength and my shield through it all, with God all things are possible.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” – Psalm 28:7

As for me and my house, We will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
