I feel like one of women’s greatest pursuits is wisdom. Especially wives! How often do we want to know something? How often do we crave knowledge? How many times do we STOP and ASK GOD FOR IT?
Even Eve in the garden didn’t think to ask God for wisdom. In Genesis 3:6 it says the woman saw the fruit pleasing to the eye, “also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it!” It continues to say Eve handed it to her husband who also ate it! WHAT!?! They sinned against God because they desired wisdom and all they had to do was ask?
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” – James 1:5
Let’s be stronger than Eve and go to God for wisdom. It is a gift He wants to give us. But when we ask remember to ask in FAITH without doubting!
