Dear Lord,
I pray against laziness. I know that there are times that I have no motivation to do anything extra in my life and marriage. Sometimes I am just too tired and overworked. But I also know that, you Lord, desire husbands to be proactive, driven and diligent as the spiritual leaders of our homes. You say in your word that the soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied. God I want to be richly supplied with Your love peace and grace, My wife’s love, And success in my career. Help us as husbands in this area. Help me in this area. Take away our laziness and give us Your energy for life.
