“A day without laughter is a day wasted.” – Charlie Chaplin
Laughing is a universal language that everyone understands. It is the way God designed us to express joy and happiness. It connects people quickly, in a way that is beautifully vulnerable; and everyone’s laughter is unique to them.

“I have seen what a laugh can do. It can transform almost unbearable tears into something bearable, even hopeful.” – Bob Hope
Laughter is essential for a marriage to thrive. Find time to laugh with your husband, even if it comes at the expense of make fun of yourself… its worth it!
Here are 6 ways to laugh more with your husband:
1. Start With Conversation – Ask him to share an embarrassing memory.
2. Be Playful – Play tug-of-war with an item that he wants, like the tv remote or car keys.
3. Be Witty – Tell a joke, or if you are like me butcher a joke 🙂
4. Be Physical – Initiate a tickle war!
5. Be Silly – Just start laughing, its contagious.
6. Make Fun of Yourself – Loosen up and dance!
I particularly want to emphasize #6. Loosen up and dance. I am a horrible dancer, yet when I feel like making my husband laugh I go out of my way to make myself look completely ridiculous through the art of bad dancing. The worse your moves, the funnier! I figured you may need a little inspiration for awesome dance moves, and while I would love to post a video of me dancing, I feel like Napoleon does it better! Enjoy!
