Dear Lord,
Please train us to regularly check our hearts and our motivations to make sure we are not being deceived into thinking we are doing the right thing, when the reality is that we are creating idols. Sharpen us, Lord, that we may scrutinize our choices and weed out idol worship. Holy Spirit, please guard our minds from dwelling on what others have. Keep our eyes on You! You are our King, and we worship You alone.
