Dear Lord,
When we go days without actively reading Scripture, we feel distant from You. We know this is because of choices we have made and not because You have pulled away from us. Please help us to engage with You and to feel connected once again. Our intimacy in marriage seems to increase when we spend quality time with You. Thank You for the way our connectedness to You influences our marriage. We ask, Lord, that You inspire us to draw close to each other today.
