Dear Lord,
Sometimes we sin, causing a great amount of pain in our marriage. Please remove the feelings of failure and shame that plague us, hindering us from maturing. Help us to receive Your forgiveness and be willing to forgive one another when we transgress. When conviction grips us, lead us to repentance so we can walk in victory. We know You provided a way for us to do this when Your Son, Jesus Christ, defeated death and sin on the cross and was resurrected. We believe His power breaks the bondage of sin in our lives so that when we fall short, He reveals our sin to us and gives us everything we need to be reconciled.
