Being in God’s Word every day is vital for the Christian life. We must seek to know God through His Word, we must meditate on it, and we must learn it. I want to encourage you to be a biblical woman by reading God’s Word Daily.
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.” Psalm1:1-2
About 8 years ago or so I subscribed to get the Air1 Verse Of The Day to my email. Air1 is a Christian radio station that gives this incredible feature. Every day I open up my email and see a wonderful verse reminding me to keep my focus on God.
A few benefits I have found of being subscribed includes:
- Getting to read God’s Word even on busy days…it is right there with easy access.
- It inspires me to want to read more.
- It reminds me to focus my heart on God.
- It usually has a weekly theme where the verses all relate to a topic such as “peace” or to a holiday such Passover.
Just recently they started including pretty graphics with the verse on it.
These verses are always in the NLT version. I am not sure if there is a way to subscribe to a specific version. I use the ESV and would recommend that version to read, but again it is only one verse a day so I still appreciate it.
I just wanted to share this with you and encourage you to subscribe too and be encouraged as I have been. I am sure there are others who have a similar feature so you could already be a apart of something that offers this such as Bible Gateway. You just have to check.
You can Subscribe to get the verse of the day by clicking Here.
I also want to share with you that I have a Prayer of the Day subscription! So if you desire a prayer you can pray every day that has to do with your heart and your marriage be sure to subscribe to that as well!
