Dear Lord,
Help us to consider what we have to offer and give without expecting anything in return. In our marriage, will You please motivate us to give lavishly? When we offer physical affection or words of encouragement or lend a hand of support, please show us how to give freely to one another. When we have needs that aren’t being met, we ask You, God, to prompt us to approach the conversation warmly, stating what we need. Keep us from withholding what we should give.
