God,

We pray that as the holidays continue, we do not lose sight of who you are.  Help us to find meaning during the holidays, rather than being consumed by good deals and material possession.  Please use us to help others in need, and make our hearts sensitive towards others.  We pray for a season of giving and thankfulness and that everything we do glorifies you!  We pray for families to be able to get together without fighting, we pray for peace and for joy.  We pray that you would help us orient ourselves at the foot of your throne.  Please guide us as we spend money and help us to be wise and not go into debt.  May this holiday season be filled with warmth and compassion in Jesus Name Amen!
