Dear Lord,
Thank you for giving me a perfect example of what it means to be a servant and to love like you love. Thank you for giving me an opportunity in my marriage to be obedient to your words. Lord, give me a servant’s heart for my bride. Give me strong hands to hold her up and gentle hands to care for her needs. I know the it is time for me to stand up and spiritually lead my family by word and actions. Help me to do this by changing my mind and heart. I pray that my wife will see the difference in me as I begin to lead by example in my home. When my wife doesn’t treat me the way I want to be treated I pray that you will give me the strength to continue to serve her without expectation.
