Lord,
Thank you for the grace you have for me. Please forgive me for the words I speak to my wife and the way I talk to her. There are times that I do not guard what comes out of my mouth and instead, say whatever I want. This is not how you desire me to be. You desire me to be constrained and self-controlled so that I would not say something that I would be hurtful or dishonoring. I need to learn to be more restrained in my words. Please Help me do this Lord.
