Dear Lord,
There are days when it is hard for me to live with my wife in an understanding way like you ask in 1 Peter 3:7. Embed this scripture in my heart. Show me how to live it out. Give me the understanding and patience I need to treat my wife with respect, gentleness, and understanding. Stop my mouth from spitting any snide remarks or rude comments. Convict my heart when I am short with her. Transform me into the husband that would make you proud God.
