Money and finances are some of the most fought over, stressed out about issues marriage faces. The reality is we all must deal with money in some form or fashion. Especially in today’s financial climate in the world, with inflation and the cost of living skyrocketing, we thought it would be beneficial to chat a bit about what the Bible has to offer us in wisdom and guidance for us and our marriages. Our hope is to shed some light on the questions we all have; How do we stay focused on our faith, and the health of our marriage when we feel the weight of increasing gas prices, expenses and groceries? How do we remain at peace with and in harmony when the financial climate is going from bad to worse? How does God desire us to think about our relationship with money? We pray this episode blesses you and your spouse and gets you to begin a discussion with each other about how God desires us to think about and respond to the money issues of today.
Every marriage, including our own, desires peace. Peace in our homes, peace in our relationships, peace with our children. Ultimately peace comes from Christ Himself, but there is also a form of peace that comes from having a good and healthy pace in life. When we have bad and unhealthy routines, try to do too much at once, or set high and lofty expectations of ourselves or others, we can get ourselves into an unsustainable pace. Jennifer and I are there now and are trying, In Christ, To find our way back to a healthy and more enjoyable pace of life, and our hope is to invite you along this journey with us as we explore some ideas about how to find this healthy pace.
In Todays episode we are going to talk about life transitions, unexpected circumstances, and how we can keep our marriage strong during high-stress seasons. Our marriages are not exempt fro the transitions and seasons of life. there will always be transition and sometimes it will be hard. But, when we walk out those transitions and seasons together and with Christ then they become opportunities for our unity and strength and faith to grow.
As Passover and easter approach we wanted to share how Jesus Himself has fulfilled the Passover feast in his life death and resurrection. In this episode, we share how the different elements of the Passover feast align with the life of Christ and we show how He fulfilled all of it. The feast is merely a shadow but He is the substance.
